In Southeast Tennessee, the Youth Advocacy Board is amplifying youth voices and driving meaningful change. Centered in Chattanooga and serving surrounding counties, this group of young leaders is working to address homelessness and create more supportive communities for youth.
The Chattanooga YAB provides a platform for youth and young adults to share their experiences and influence the systems that impact their lives. Their insights help shape programs and services that are more effective, accessible, and responsive to the needs of young people.
YAB members are actively involved in advocacy and outreach efforts, working to raise awareness and connect peers to resources. They collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders to identify challenges and develop solutions that improve outcomes for youth.
Participation in the YAB also supports personal growth and leadership development. Members gain valuable skills and confidence, preparing them to take on leadership roles within their communities.
The Southeast Tennessee Youth Advocacy Board is a testament to the power of youth leadership. By elevating their voices, we create stronger systems and more inclusive communities for everyone.
